[She walks, because it's easier than trying to fly in the snow and navigate, at least while she's alone. So it takes her longer than it would have otherwise, but once she walks in, she sees Collette quickly. It's not hard to locate the only bird in the room, and she has to smile at the sight of her covered in blankets.]
I'm here! [She walks over, bending.]
Are you ready? I'm going to wait until we're outside to change. [She doesn't want anyone else to see.]
( Collette wiggles out of the nest of blankets, fluffing out her feathers briefly. )
< Brr! Can I catch a ride out? It's kind of awkward flying around in here as anything bigger than a finch. Way noticeable, too! >
( She lifts one taloned foot up, talons spread wide. It's the kind of motion many a bird in stores might use to ask about stepping up on a finger, hand, or arm of someone walking by. Wide owl eyes stay focused and unblinking on Ahiru's face. )
( Collette sets her foot gently down, making sure not to have her talons press hard enough to do more than indent skin. )
< Do they hurt right now? I'll be gentle! >
( She's careful still as she puts her slighter weight into Ahiru's hand, bringing her other foot up and holding as fast as she can while not accidentally hurting her friend. )

Of course! Those don't hurt or anything, do they? [The talons.]

[She brings her hand up, taking care to keep her arm steady. She starts making for the door.]
I think you're going to need to hold my pendant once we get out there, though - with the snow and all, I'll just change back if I have it on.

< That I can handle no problem! Man, I wonder how sensitive owl feet are to the snow. Guess I'm about to find out! >
( She flares her wings as soon as they're outside, turning her beak up toward the sky. )
